Amazing Alternative to CoffeeI am sitting here at my computer right now sipping on my favorite coffee alternative and I had to tell you about it…

Very few people know about this product and I’m going to dedicate a whole newsletter coming up to the pros and con of caffeine, when to have it, how much, and what all the coffee or espresso lovers out there (like myself) can sip on if we don’t want to infuse caffeine into our veins all day long…

Since you are one The Daily Skinny blog readers you get to hear about it first… it’s called Teeccino and it is actually an all-natural, gluten-free, caffeine-free, coffee alternative that is actually good for you!

I’ll talk more about it later, but I wanted to tell you that my Teeccino hazelnut coffee that I just brewed tastes amazing. I guess you have to really love cappuccinos and coffee to know where I’m coming from…

Reshape Your Mind, Reshape Your BodyThere’s a lot of talk about eating better and exercising daily, but that alone won’t take your fitness to a new level.
You really need to step back and evaluate how you live your life. You need to carefully inspect each hour of your day and look to see what habits you’ve picked up over the years…
Do you start your morning with a high-glycemic juice and a bowl of processed cereal? Or do you skip breakfast because you’re on the go? Decisions like this literally shape the way your day is going to go because they have a huge impact on your energy levels, mood, mindset, and of course your weight.
We all know the old-saying, “you didn’t gain weight or develop your unhealthy habits overnight, so it’s going to take some time to change them…” And even though we may know it, we don’t like to hear that we can’t have that new body today or tomorrow.
So let’s take a step back and look at what we should really try to accomplish.
Beginning a diet and exercise program is a… continue reading “Reshape Your Mind, Reshape Your Body

Re: New Weight Loss Scams Being Advertised

New Weight Loss SCAMS Revealed!I hate to say it, but 90% of the products and information on the
internet are absolutely worthless…

And to top it off there are a bunch of new ads dominating the web
that are TAKING ADVANTAGE of thousands of innocent people looking
for real-world answers.

Here’s what the NEW SCAMS look like:

The advertisements you see are disguised to look like moms, and
other women’s success story blogs, but they are really just
deceptive marketing ploys set up to look like blogs. It’s sneaky
and actually quite clever, but the fact is these are bogus sites.

They promote 2 main “weight loss” products.

Re: Small Changes DO Lead to Amazing Results

I had just finished a phone interview with Health magazine yesterday when it dawned on me that great changes really can come from small tweaks in your diet and exercise programs.

I can’t reveal the exercise quick tips I gave Kate from Health magazine until it comes out, but I can tell you that some of my most successful body transformation clients have been able to get away with only making minor changes that added up to amazing results in their body composition and healthy lifestyle.

For instance, I began working with a guy earlier this year who refused to change the way he ate. He just didn’t want to give up beer with his buddies, or a few slices of pizza 2-3 a week. So after sitting down with him and really looking over his typical meal plan for the week, I asked him if he would be willing to make just one change for me and see how that went for him…

He reluctantly said yes, and then asked me what it was.  Read more…

Should I, or should I not drink caffeine before you exercise… that is the question.Should I Drink Caffeine Before I Exercise?â

The answer, though, is very interesting and now thanks to new research we seem to have conclusive evidence that debunks decade old recommendations.

It was once recommended that athletes and those trying to burn body fat consume a caffeinated beverage about 45 minutes before working out to improve their workouts. The caffeine enhanced your workout results by stimulating the nervous system and reducing perceived exertion so that you could push harder and exercise at a greater intensity level for a longer period of time.

However, after a new study was released in January it is now widely accepted that taking in caffeine before a workout… “Should I Drink Caffeine Before I Exercise?”

Save Your Health by Eating These FoodsHey everyone,

I’m finally back in Boston, but I have to say that Toronto really is a beautiful city with a lot to do there. I literally walked 12 miles around the city the first day I got there checking out the waterfront, university, book festival, and quite a few coffee chops…

I also had the opportunity to share and learn a lot at the fitness seminar I was up there for.
Anyway, I wanted to let you in on some quick tips that I DISCOVERED after interviewing Monica Reinagel, the author of the Inflammation Free Diet Plan.
I’m going to tell you some of the nutrition secrets she shared that only a FEW people know about…
I’ve been preaching about the benefits of lowering your cortisol levels (inflammation) for a while now. Why? The reason I’m so passionate about this topic is because inflammation IS what causes the aging process, disease, and a host of other health issues. (that’s why pharmaceutical drugs only work to fight against the symptoms… not the actual problem)
Here are some quick pointers I can share with you from our interview:  Read more…

There seems to be a new resurgence in energy drinks where manufacturers are looking to Energy Drinks Go Healthyreposition them as “healthy.”

What these companies have done is add more herbal ingredients to their drinks to replace some of the more typical ones like caffeine.

Their hope is that by adding herbal stimulants like guarana and ginseng, they will be able to reposition their carbonated beverages as healthy alternatives to the popular choices such as Red Bull.

Time will tell if the consumers who have been drinking their regular caffeinated beverages will… continue reading “Energy Drinks Go Healthy?”
